We purchased Dunmore Castle & Cottages in 2015 and we have an exciting vision for Dunmore over the coming years.  The Castle & Cottages sit on a beautiful estate of 120 acres, offering peace and tranquility, on the shores of West Loch Tarbert in South Knapdale. We are only 7 miles from the picturesque fishing village of Tarbert on Loch Fyne. 

 

The estate is named after the Bronze Age fort which tops the spectacular cliffs above the Castle.  From here there are breathtaking views of the West Loch and out to the islands of Gigha and Islay, famous for its whisky making at numerous distilleries. 

 

Our aim to is create a fabulous destination on the West Coast of Scotland providing excellent facilities with a ‘home away from home’ feel.  

 

Fraser and Ross Cottages are now fully renovated and offer a perfect vacation retreat to relax in comfort by the wood burning stores or enjoy the many outdoor activities that are available in the area.  

 

Perfect for a long holiday with the family or a long weekend getaway with friends offering plenty of outdoor space, the cottages are available year round.  Prices are inclusive of linens, electricity and logs.

 

Dogs are welcome in Fraser Cottage.
